Toyama is the capital city of the Toyama prefecture in Japan, located about 300km northwest of Tokyo. Toyama city boasts an impressive alpine panorama in the background of the city scapes and the plains on which the city is built on is good farmland. With many rivers flowing through the city, it makes for an impressive and pretty sight. Since it isn't far from the alpine regions, Toyama also offers excellent skiing in winter.
